These are a Staff favorite. They’re just so cool!

Squat Mac is a seriously special strain. With enough airflow and a rich nutrient base, the initial pins can absolutely BALLOON into fat, ball-shaped mushrooms. We’ve never seen squats like these!

True to their accurate name, these mushrooms stay quite short under the right conditions. When grown to maturity, this strain can produce 60-100g mushrooms with small, flat caps and the thickest stipes you’ve ever seen!

These mushrooms don’t often produce “canopies” in our testing; instead, they grow more sparsely, which suits their chubby nature. With enough airflow and room to thicken, they will stay very squat indeed!

Shipping and Storage:

Your cultures will be fine during shipping, we promise! They handle heat and cold very well. Once home, cubensis cultures should be kept in a fridge between 33-40°F to maximize their lifespan of 6-12 months.

Do not let your cultures freeze! While most will survive one freeze-thaw cycle, multiple freeze-thaw cycles will kill any live mycelium.
