Frequently Asked Questions
Question: Is it legal to purchase/possess Psilocybe cubensis (aka Magic Mushroom) Syringes in the US?
Answer: Yes (with some state exceptions: California, Georgia and Idaho)
The Federal Controlled Substances Act bans the sale or purchase of any substance containing psilocybin (the active ingredient in mature magic mushrooms). This means that psilocybin mushrooms themselves are illegal to cultivate, sell, or trade. The Controlled Substances Act does not make any mention of the spores or mycelium of these mushrooms, because:
The spores/immature early-stage mycelium of these mushrooms do not contain any psilocybin.
This is why the sale/purchase/possession of cubensis spores is legal to purchase, sell, trade, or give away in 47 states, while the cultivation of these mushrooms is illegal.
There are some specific state exceptions: California, Georgia and Idaho have specific state amendments that prohibit the sale or possession of cubensis spores or mycelium, regardless of psilocybin content. That means that we cannot and will not fulfill any orders to California, Georgia or Idaho that contain any of these products. This is subject to change based on changes in local legislation.

Question: So your P. cubensis syringes are legal?
Answer: Yes!
Our syringes are 100% free of any psychoactive alkaloids, as tested and proven by HPLC testing. These results are available upon request.
These syringes are intended for microscopy, research, and taxonomy purposes only. Any emails or orders mentioning cultivation (including agar, grain, fruiting, harvesting) or consumption (ingesting, dosing, recreational or therapeutic use) will result in a cancelled order and a refusal of service.
Please, don’t make us the bad guys here — do not contact us about growing P. cubensis cultures.
For more information, see our Legal Disclaimer.
Question: What types of payment do you accept?
Answer: We currently accept Visa debit and credit cards, as well as Apple/Google Pay if you’re on mobile!
We do not accept MasterCard at this time, sorry!
Other forms of payment are not guaranteed to work. Send us an email if you have any questions.
Question: How long does it take to ship?
Answer: Once placed, please allow for up to 1-3 business days of processing time before your order ships.
While we try to ship all orders within 1-2 days of receiving payment, we are a small (but mighty!) team and cannot always ship within 1-2 days of receiving your payment. USPS is not open on weekends, so shipping can only occur Monday through Friday.
We make syringes upon request. This means the syringes you receive will be less than a few days since they were created. Super fresh, we promise!
Orders placed later in the week may ship the next Monday or Tuesday.
For more information, see our Terms and Conditions.
Question: Can I track the status of my order?
Answer: Yes! Check your order status page link, found in your confirmation email.
Once you place an order, you’ll receive an initial confirmation email that has a link to your order status page. Use that link to check the status of your order at any time!
Question: Do you have discreet shipping?
Answer: Yes! Shipping is secure and discreet with no indication as to the contents of the package.
We get it, we’ve been in your position ourselves! The shipping label will contain no mention of spores or cultures. Boxes have no custom logos or writing.
For more information, see our Terms and Conditions.
Question: Is the credit card statement discreet?
Answer: Yes! The statement will appear as “DLS Supply, LLC” on your card.
Only the confirmation email will contain any mention of our website name or the product you ordered.
Question: Do you offer international (non USA) shipping?
Answer: No, we do not offer any international (non-USA) shipping at this time. Sorry!
Question: It’s really hot/cold outside. Will the cultures be ok during shipping?
Your cultures will be fine during shipping, we promise! Customers have emailed us for years with concerns of temperatures, but only on one or two occasions has it ever been an issue. They handle heat and cold very well. Once home, cubensis cultures should be kept in a fridge between 33-40°F to maximize their lifespan of 6-12 months.
While most cultures will completely survive one freeze-thaw cycle, multiple freeze-thaw cycles will kill any live mycelium.
With USPS, our boxes are kept climate-controlled until the moment of delivery. As long as you’ll be there to grab your packages that evening (or sooner) they’ll be fine.
Question: I am under 18, can I still order from you?
Answer: Spore Stock requires all customers to be over the age of 18.
Proof of age (identification) may be required if we suspect an order is placed by a minor.
For more information, see our Terms and Conditions.
