In the Wild:

“Mazatapec” P. cubensis are most often seen as a smooth-capped, slender variety. This mushroom originates from southern Mexico. In the wild, this variety is not quite as fast-growing as other cubensis.

Mazatapec mushrooms have been used by native and indigenous people of Central America for centuries. Historical records show that the Mazatec indigenous people, a tribe that comes from the mountains of Oaxaca, Mexico, have used these mushrooms for spiritual and healing purposes for at least 700 years, and likely much, much longer.

In Mexico, many members of the same family eat the mushrooms together; fathers, mothers, children, uncles, and aunts all participate in the transformation of their minds as they elevate consciousness to a higher state.

1954
María Sabina, a Mazatec curandera, giving R. Gordon Wasson psilocybin mushrooms. This pivotal moment would change history by bringing psilocybin to the rest of the world, including western neuroscience and psychology.

Storage:

All cubensis syringes should be kept in a fridge between 33-40°F. Do not let your syringes freeze!
While most will survive one freeze-thaw cycle, multiple freeze-thaw cycles will kill any live mycelium.

When stored between 33-40°F, cubensis syringes will remain viable for taxonomy and identification for a minimum of 6 months.

Psilocybe cubensis syringes are intended for microscopy and taxonomy purposes only.
Any mention of cultivation will result in your order being canceled.
