In the Wild:

The quintessential cubensis mushroom! Golden Teachers are a beautiful, hardy, and contamination-resistant variety. Golden Teachers get their name from their smooth golden caps. This variety may be the most commonly known psilocybin mushroom variety, and for good reason!

In the wild, the first flush of golden teacher mushrooms will produce small-medium sized mushrooms. Later flushes can produce surprisingly large mushrooms. Even under less than ideal growing conditions, Golden Teacher mushrooms grow quite easily, often producing large flushes.

They are found most often in the southern United States.

Storage:

All cubensis cultures should be kept in a fridge between 33-40°F. Do not let your cultures freeze!
While most will survive one freeze-thaw cycle, multiple freeze-thaw cycles will kill any live mycelium.

When stored between 33-40°F, cubensis cultures will remain viable for a minimum of 6 months.
